how to make a website

I created WebsiteSetup.org to give beginners a fast and simple way to create a website without having to learn HTML/CSS coding or read long, boring tutorials. In this guide, I will show you how most web developers build their sites and how you can avoid expensive website builders that are often too limited for a bigger site. I also help you avoid some mistakes that I did when I started out. P.S. This guide is nearly 4000 words long, so grab yourself a coffee and let’s get started. And oh, if you get stuck (which I doubt!) don’t hesitate to email us – we do our best to help you out. Ready to launch your website today? Let’s get started! STEP 1: Choose the Right Platform There are hundreds of different website building platforms and website builders around the market. WordPress, Wix, Joomla, Drupal… Just to name a few. You can also code your website from scratch, but I wouldn’t recommend it on mainly two reasons: It just takes too much time (seriously) Your end result will be...

Top BCCI Official Demands Answers On 'Leak' Of Mithali Raj's Email

© AFP Indian women's One-day International (ODI) cricket team skipper Mithali Raj sent an email to The Board of Control for Cricket in India accusing head coach Ramesh Powar and former captain Diana Edulji - a member of the Committee of Administrators (CoA) supervising the BCCI's operations - of leaving her "deflated, depressed and let down" with their actions during the recently concluded World T20 in the Caribbean. The BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary on Wednesday also sent an email to CEO Rahul Johri and General Manager, Cricket Operations, Saba Karim, seeking explanation on how the email sent by Mithali was leaked to the media. "I was taken aback by media reports today, obviously based on leaks, reporting the content of the email apparently written by Mithali Raj. I am not sure to whom the email was addressed though it remains a fact that the undersigned is a convener of the national women's selection committee and the concerned recipient(s) shou...

India vs Australia: Prithvi Shaw Slams Quickfire 66, Starts Australia Tour With A Bang - Watch

Team India's new batting star Prithvi Shaw began his Australia tour on a bright note by hitting a 69-ball 66 on day two of the warm-up match between India and Cricket Australia XI. Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Hanuma Vihari too got half-centuries while KL Rahul failure to make any notable contribution. The 19-year-old batsman, who made his Test debut a month ago and marked the occasion with a century against the Windies, heads into the four-match series with a burgeoning reputation. There has been a plenty of hype around the right-hander and coach Ravi Shastri even went on to call the Mumbai batsman a combination of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Brian Lara. "He is born to play cricket" Shastri said after the Windies Test series. "He's a spectator's delight. There's a bit of Sachin (Tendulkar) there, a bit of Viru (Virendar Sehwag) in him and when he walks there's a bit of (Brian) Lara as well."

Ricky Ponting's Series Result Prediction Is Bad News For India

Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is pretty accurate in his Test series predictions, having forecast a 4-0 scoreline for the Ashes series. He is wearing the Nostradamus hat again for India's four-Test series Down Under and it is not good news for the visitors. The Tasmanian has forecast as 2-1 series win for Australia, while everyone in India is hoping for a series victory in Australia, something which has eluded them. "I'd love to see the pitches have a little bit in them because I think our batters will bat better against their (bowlers) with something in them than their (batters) will against ours," cricket.com.au quoted Ponting as saying. "We're talking 40 years of history with India coming to Australia and not being able to win because of the fast, bouncy nature of our pitches so I'd love to see them that way. "If it's a wicket in Perth like I saw for the one-dayer against South Africa then I can't see India making too many at a...

Bangladesh To Send Cricketers To Pakistan After Safety Assurances

Bangladesh will send a cricket squad to Pakistan for the first time in three years, officials said on Thursday after receiving assurances from their counterparts about security. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are co-hosting an Asian Cricket Council tournament next month, with Bangladesh playing all their group matches in Karachi. Most cricket nations have steered clear of Pakistan since gunmen attacked Sri Lanka's team bus in 2009, killing several people. But international cricket is slowly returning, with Zimbabwe and the West Indies among countries to visit Pakistan in recent years. The Bangladesh squad being sent for the Emerging Teams Asia Cup starting December 6 is the first since 2015 to visit Pakistan. "We agreed to the tour following assurance of adequate security by the Pakistan Cricket Board," said Bangladesh Cricket Board boss Nizamuddin Chowdhury. The board would also send a security detail with the squad, he added. Bangladesh are in Group B alongside hosts Paki...

Virat Kohli's 'Love' Can Keep Test Cricket Alive, Says David Gower

Team India skipper Virat Kohli, who also happens to be the number one Test batsman in the world, has time and again expressed that he is absolutely in love with the traditional format of cricket. The modern-day great, who has excelled in different conditions across the world, believes that five-day cricket is 'the most beautiful format of the game'. "I think that if you really understand the sport, if you really love the sport, you understand Test cricket and you understand how exciting it is," Kohli was quoted as saying by icc-cricket.com earlier this year. Former England captain David Gower said comments made by Kohli, during India's 4-1 Test series loss in England, are significant. "We had a fantastic series against India, closer than the margin suggests," said Gower, one of the leading Test batsmen of his era. "It is a reflection of the balance of power if Virat says that - you've got a lot of people who will listen," explained Gowe...

India vs Australia: Prithvi Shaw Ruled Out Of Adelaide Test With Ligament Injury

Team India were dealt a massive blow on Friday when young batting star Prithvi Shaw was ruled out of the first Test against Australia in Adelaide starting December 6. Prithvi Shaw hurt his ankle while trying to take a catch against Cricket Australia XI and had to be carried off at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The 19-year-old appeared to have rolled his left ankle attempting a catch on the deep mid-wicket boundary. Prithvi Shaw, while attempting to catch a big hit from opener Max Bryant, landed awkwardly with his left ankle bending 90-degrees inwards underneath him, and he tumbled to the ground and over the rope. "Shaw underwent scans this morning and the reports revealed a lateral ligament injury. Shaw will be unavailable for the First Test against Australia in Adelaide. He will undergo an intensive rehabilitation program to hasten the recovery and be available for selection at the earliest," BCCI said in a release

Shadman falls for 76 as West Indies claw back

Bangladesh 175 for 4 (Shakib 13*, Mushfiqur 4*) v West Indies Bangladesh remained steady despite the loss of two wickets during the second session of the first day of the Dhaka Test, but West Indies would still feel happy with the scalps. Mohammad Mithun and Shadman Islam, who made 76 on his Test debut, were the batsmen dismissed as the home side went to tea on 175 for 4. It was another session of grafting for Bangladesh as Shadman and Mithun added 64 runs for the third wicket. Shadman struck Warrican and Chase for boundaries during their partnership, the first of which brought about his fifty on debut. Devendra Bishoo, for the third time in as many innings during this Test series, removed Mithun, this time bowling him with a delivery that was too full for the pull-shot. Bishoo then had Shadman lbw as the left-hander played down the wrong line, a delivery after he had pulled the legspinner for his sixth boundary. A patient Shadman led the home side to an almost perfect first sessio...

Bangladesh coach sees no demons in Chattogram turning track

A spin-friendly pitch in Chattogram is as acceptable as a green and bouncy track in Antigua, said Bangladesh coach Steve Rhodes. He said that visiting teams are not surprised with these conditions when they come to play in the subcontinent, adding that batsmen didn't quite manage to play well under pressure against spinners during the Chattogram Test which Bangladesh won by 64 runs in under three days. Rhodes was responding to questions a day after the Test that drew some flak for being so stacked in favour of spinners, who took 34 out of the 40 wickets in the game. In Antigua in July this year, the West Indies and Bangladesh pace bowlers had combined to take 24 out of the 30 wickets that fell, as the visitors went down by an innings and 219 runs. "I think in the subcontinent you come to expect turning wickets, so it is no surprise," Rhodes said. "It is a turning wicket in Colombo where a Test match is going on between England and Sri Lanka. It is just a different ...

Lahiru Thirimanne, Nuwan Pradeep back in Sri Lanka squad for New Zealand Tests

Batsman Lahiru Thirimanne has been recalled into Sri Lanka's Test squad, with wicketkeeper-batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama also picked in the 17-strong outfit heading to New Zealand for two Tests in December. Dinesh Chandimal, who missed the last two Tests of the recent series against England with a groin strain, is back to lead the side. His deputy is the opener Dimuth Karunaratne, who has been elevated to vice-captaincy ahead of fast bowler Suranga Lakmal, who led Sri Lanka in Chandimal's absence against England. The only major omission is that of offspinner Akila Dananjaya, who is awaiting the results of his biomechanics test, having been reported for a suspect action. Also failing to find a place in the squad is opener Kaushal Silva, who produced four modest innings in the recent series against England. Danushka Gunathilaka, who also had a poor Test at the SSC, and has been in various disciplinary scrapes over the past 18 months, has been selected, however. The compositio...

Tasmania overcome Ferguson's fighting hundred and the rain

Tasmania 185 (Worrall 4-42) and 353 for 8 dec (Silk 113, Bailey 63, McDermott 54) beat South Australia 136 (Bell 4-29) and 213 (Ferguson 111, Bird 4-65) by 189 runs Tasmania overcame a superb rearguard hundred from Callum Ferguson and rain which threatened to scupper their hopes to secure a 189-run victory over South Australia. Ferguson had started the day at the crease and there was still there at tea, but South Australia were seven down after Jackson Bird and Gabe Bell went through the top order. However, rain delayed the resumption of the final session and when it relented 19 overs were left. Ferguson went to his century with the first ball he faced, his 219th delivery, after the break before Bird removed Nick Winter. Ferguson started to farm the strike with Kane Richardson for company but as the overs started to tick down he was pinned lbw by the impressive Bird. The match ended in the next over when Richardson was caught in the slips off Bell who finished with 3 for 44. Earli...
